The Hamidabad College is only the institution established in 1979 with effect by the intelectual, leading persons and people of the locality in name of Marhum Peer Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani at Satsia in the South Bank of Brahmaputra of Dhubri District for imparting higher Education. Where thousand and thousand of students have been completed their under Graduate course with the glorious result.

It is immense pleasure and glorious information to well wisher of the college that after a long perseverance the college has been provincialised by the Govt. of Assam with effect from 01/01/2013.

The Hamidabad College, Satsia established on 16th Nov/1979 at Satsia village under Jamadarhat Dev.Block in the District of Dhubri Assam, South bank of mighty river Brahamaputra. Most of the intelectual persons, educationist, leader of The locality, Social activist, and mass concious people of our areas took the fundamental role to establish this college in the name of "Mojlum Janaeta" Morhum Pire Kamel Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani. Who was The dynamic leader, Social reformer and educationist in pre independent INDIA. This institution was established for providing higher education to the students of backward and char areas and also emphasised and encouraged to the girls students for getting their higher education.
